There is nothing more powerful and life-altering than experiencing your Potential

After marching 5 seasons of drum corps, 4 seasons of independent indoor, a season of college band, and all of high school, the most significant lesson I learned didn’t pertain to my hands, my feet, nor my brain. In fact, it isn’t something you can learn in a day, a month, or a year. It only presents itself after completely giving yourself to something — after pushing your body and mind far past their comfort zones, after persevering each time the world dragged you down, and after leaning into every fear and discomfort that came with progress. I learned that I was truly capable of reaching my true potential.

Regardless of the medium, experiencing your potential enlightens you to what you are capable of when you truly put your mind, body, and soul into it. Every goal suddenly seems achievable and being an amateur at anything becomes an opportunity for great progress. This is not something you can read from a book to understand. You can listen to others describe the sensation, but it won’t help you very much. You have to experience it yourself to truly understand. That is why I teach and why I created this page.

I love what this activity has done for me. It has enriched and enhanced my life in so many indescribable ways and I want to provide that opportunity for as many people as I can. Everyone has their own set of unique obstacles but if obtaining quality information isn’t one of them, that’s an immense step closer to reaching their potential. That is the hope I have with this page and the YouTube channel, and if anyone can gain some knowledge towards achieving their dream, then this is all worth it.

Aside from that I’m a resident of southern California, I love long hikes, and exploring new places. I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Long Beach State and currently work as an MRI service engineer for Siemens Healthineers. I’m currently working on becoming a better designer of DIY electronic systems and applying my quad-playing skills to drumset. I would love the opportunity to go back to school and get my Masters because I love school (mostly after aging out and discovering how to apply myself…) and love learning how modern technology works and affects our daily lives. My long-term goal is to become a home owner and own a couple medium to large dogs while somehow finding time to continue teaching drums.
